Daredevil (Matt Murdock)
Daredevil is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Daredevil was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with an unspecified amount of input from Jack Kirby. The character first appeared in Daredevil #1 (April 1964). Writer/artist Frank Miller‘s influential tenure on the title in the early 1980s cemented the character as a popular and influential part of the Marvel Universe. Daredevil is commonly known by such epithets as the “Man Without Fear” and the “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen”.

Chaste Training
Matt was trained by the martial arts master Stick. He has the following benefits:
- Bonus fighter feats as a fighter of his HD

- Unarmed Attack as a monk of his HD
- When unarmed he receives a +6 bonus to strike and damage.
- Flurry of Blows and Stunning Blow as a monk of his HD

A +5 inherent bonus has been added to all Daredevils’s ability scores due to his intense training
Blind
Matt is blind and thus immune to any effects that target sight, including darkness
Radar Sense
Daredevil possesses a radar sense which though he is blind gives him a much more accurate representation of his surroundings. It provides him the following benefits.
His radar extends up to 3 miles in all directions. .

Enhanced Senses
All of Matt’s remaining senses are super sharp. He is able to hear a pin drop at over five miles distance, and read print with his fingertips.
- This provides him with the following benefits
- +20 insight bonus to Search checks when he can touch, smell, or taste the object
- +20 insight bonus to Listen checks
- +20 insight bonus to Track others by Scent
- +20 insight bonus to Sense Motive (from listening to others hearbeats, breathing, etc.)
- +5 insight bonus on reflex saves as he can feel the air shifts of approaching dangers
- +5 Dodge bonus AC due to enhanced touch and detecting shifting air currents, subtle movements, etc.
- +5 insight bonus to Balance, Climb, Jump, Move Silently, Tumble
- Matt can roll a Search check (DC: 20) to Detect Poison in a drink or on a material.
Bonus Feats: Scent, Track
Drawbacks
Daredevil is vulnerable to attacks that target his senses or radar specifically.
Sonic based attacks inflict double damage to Daredevil and force a will save (DC: 10+damage dealt) or he can only make a partial action each round.
Enhanced Sensation: Daredevil takes +2 per die in damage due to his extreme sense of touch and thus enhanced sensation of pain.
Radar blurring
Confusion of his radar is possible by heavy rain, snow, or other situations with thousands of small objects in fast motion. If this occurs he loses all
benefits of his radar. If his other senses are functioning he can still use his Blind Fighting Feat
Possessions
Billy club +4 to attack and damage, 1d10+4 damage, 19-20. . Martial weapon for Daredevil, exotic for others. Range increment of 30 feet. Returns to wielder with successful Dexterity check (DC: 15). It also includes a grapple cable, similar to rope of Climbing, this shoots a grapple up to 200 feet long. This grants a +10 to Climb checks when used.
