The Radiant Sisters
The Radiant Sisters – Thirteen lilitu bards who serve under their mistress.
The Radiant Sisters are a group of Advanced Lilitu Bards who serve the Queen of Succubi Malcanthet in the Dungeons and Dragons role playing game. They first appeared in the article The Demonomicon of Iggwilv: Malcanthet written by James Jacobs which appeared in Dragon #353.
They are a group of thirteen devoted minions of Malcanthet who hold a favored status with her and their devotion is total and unwavering.
The term Radiant Sister is a title which is passed from one Lilitu to another upon their passing which means there are always the same number of Radiant Sisters. Though the individuals change over time, their names by which they are known never do.
Their names are actually the colors they radiate, and each one has a soul-draining locket and a shining halo.

Bardic Inspiration (7/short rest) A Radiant Sister provides a d10 inspiration die. She can use this to penalize a foe or aid an ally.
Husk A creature reduced to 0 hit points by a Radiant Sister is turned into a husk, unless it succeeds on a DC 19 Constitution saving throw, in which case it begins dying as normal. If the Sister causes a failed death saving throw, the victim must make this Constitution save again or be turned into a husk.
A husk has 1 hit point per HD of the victim and appears completely lifeless, as though it were a well preserved corpse. The victim’s soul does not move on to the afterlife, instead being trapped within. A Radiant Sister can use her shapechanger ability to perfectly mimic any creature whose husk she possesses. If a blow would reduce a Sister mimicking a creature to 0 hit points, she can instead allow it to harm the husk. If the husk is destroyed, the lilitu immediately resumes her true form. While mimicking a husk, divination magic reads as though she were the husk creature and not herself.
Spellcasting. A Radiant Sister is a 14th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 21, +13 to hit with spell attacks). She knows the following bard spells
Cantrips (at will): mage hand, mending, minor illusion, vicious mockery
1st level (4 slots): disguise self, faerie fire, longstrider, sleep
2nd level (3 slots): enthrall, heat metal, see invisibility
3rd level (3 slots): dispel magic, glyph of warding, major image
4th level (3 slots): compulsion, dimension door, greater invisibility
5th level (2 slot): animate object, dominate person, mislead
6th level (1 slot): irresistable dance
7th level (1 slot): teleport
Telepathic Bond. The Radiant Sister ignores the range restriction on her telepathy when communicating with a creature it has charmed or branded. The two don’t even need to be on the same plane of existence.
Shapechanger. The Radiant Sister can use her action to polymorph into a Small or Medium humanoid, or back into her true form. Without wings, she loses her flying speed. Other than her size and speed, her statistics are the same in each form . Any equipment she is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. She reverts to her true form if she dies.
ACTIONS

Multiattack. The lilitu makes five attacks, two with its whip, two with its claws and one with its tail.
Whip. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d6 + 8) slashing damage plus 11 (2d10) force damage. On a critical hit, the target takes an additional 14 (4d6) slashing damage and takes a lingering injury.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage and the target must make a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned for 1 round. This results in the wound forming an ugly brand that persists until removed with greater restoration or similar magic. As long as the brand persists, the victim suffers disadvantage on all saves and attacks made against the Radiant Sister.
Charm. One humanoid the Sister can see within 30 feet of it must succeed on a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or be magically charmed for 1 day. The charmed target obeys the Sister’s verbal or telepathic commands. If the target suffers any harm or receives a suicidal command, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success. If the target successfully saves against the effect, or if the effect on it ends, the target is immune to this Sister’s Charm for the next 24 hours. The Radiant Sister can have only three targets charmed at a time. If she charms another past this limit, the effect on the most previous target ends. A target with a brand on it (see Tail, above) never counts against this limit, and never becomes immune to the Sister’s Charm on a successful save.
Plane Shift. The Radiant Sister magically enters the Astral or Ethereal Plane from the Material Plane or an Outer Plane, or vice versa.
Possessions The Radiant Sister’s halo-whip functions as a +1 whip of sharpness that uses her Charisma score to modify attack and damage. It also provides her with a +3 to AC and saving throws.

Betrayal: Allies struck by a Radiant Sister’s attacks or spells must make a Will save (DC 37) or be stunned for 1d4 rounds.
Draining Kiss: A Radiant Sister can bestow 1 negative level with a kiss. She must succeed on a grapple check to kiss an unwilling victim.
Lilitu’s Gift: Once per day, a Radiant Sister can embrace a willing or helpless living creature as a standard action and grant it a +2 profane bonus to Charisma and a +2 profane bonus on saving throws. The effects persists for 24 hours or until the target creature is affected by dispel chaos. Until the gift expires or is removed, the affected creature radiates chaos as if his alignment were chaotic. Moreover, its natural weapons, as well as any weapons it wields, are treated as chaotic aligned for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction.
As long as the character possesses the gift, the sister’s name (written in Abyssal) appears as a tattoo somewhere on the character’s body. The recipient cannot see its own tattoo. The Sister can monitor the character’s condition and location as if she had placed a status spell on the character. She can communicate telepathically with the character at all times, despite any intervening distance (even across planes), and by concentrating, can observe the world around the character as if she were there in its place. Accepting a sister’s gift is a chaotic act.
A creature can resist gaining the gift by making a Will save (DC 37 negates).
Poison: Injury, Fortitude DC 31, 2d6 Wisdom/1d4 negative levels.
Spell-like Abilities:
- At will – charm monster (DC 30), detect good, detect thoughts (DC 26), disguise self, greater teleport, fly, suggestion (DC 28), sending, tongues;
- 1/day – dominate person (DC 29), symbol of persuasion (DC 32) Caster level 22nd

- 2nd – blur, calm emotions, detect thoughts, enthrall, misdirection;
- 3rd – crushing despair, glibness, major image, scrying, sculpt sound;
- 4th – cure critical wounds, dominate person, hold monster, modify memory, zone of silence;
- 5th – dream, mind fog, persistent image, song of discord, mass suggestion;
- 6th – animate objects, eyebite, irresistible dance, project image
Item Use: A Radiant Sister can use any magic item as though she had successfully used the Use Magic Device skill.
Reflect Enchantment: Three times per day as an immediate action, a Radiant Sister can reflect an enchantment spell back on its caster if the Sister succeeds on her saving throw or the spell fails to penetrate her Spell Resistance.
Shroud Alignment: Spells and spell-like abilities that have the good descriptor treat a Radiant Sister as if her alignment was good. Magic items are similarly fooled.
Vulnerable to Divine Magic: Radiant Sisters take a -2 penalty on saves against divine magic. Divine casters gain a +4 bonus to caster level checks to penetrate their Spell Resistance.
Possessions: A radiant sister’s halo can be turned into a +5 brilliant energy Whip of sharpness as a free action.
