Persistent Image is a legacy figment spell that creates a scripted illusion with sight, sound, smell and temperature.

Effect
The spell functions like Silent Image, but adds auditory, olfactory and thermal components. The caster defines a script when the spell is cast, and the illusion follows that script without requiring continued concentration.
The figment can include intelligible speech.
Using Persistent Image
Because the illusion runs on its own, the caster can create a guard routine, staged conversation, repeated warning, false activity or other programmed scene and then leave it functioning for the duration.
Material Component
A bit of fleece and several grains of sand.
