Ops is a Roman goddess of plenty, fertility and stored resources. Her Capitol temple was associated with public treasure as well as cult, making abundance tangible as something held, measured and protected rather than merely wished for.

Ops in Roman Religion
Ops belongs to the old Roman language of plenty and agricultural abundance. Her Capitol temple became materially associated with stored state treasure, an unusually concrete expression of resources held in reserve.
The Opiconsivia on 25 August marked one of her major festival days. Ops overlaps with abundance personifications and agricultural gods without becoming interchangeable with them.
What Is Ops Doing Right Now?
War and poor harvests make stored resources as politically important as armies. Ops is active wherever a community discovers that its emergency reserves exist only on paper.
She favours foresight more than display: a modest granary kept honestly can matter more to her than a ruler’s ceremonial wealth.
Worship in the Campaign Present
Granary keepers, stewards, farmers, treasurers and households maintaining winter stores invoke Ops.
Her priests inspect measures, reserves and promises. They are suspicious of leaders who count the same sack of grain twice in public accounts.
Domains, Spells and Divine Gifts
Ops’s clergy favour Life, Nature, Community and Protection themes. Suitable spells include Create Food and Water, Plant Growth, Aura of Vitality, Heroes’ Feast, Greater Restoration and Heal.
Gift: Reserve Measure
The devotee can accurately estimate how long a visible store of food or water will sustain a known number of creatures.
Gift: Keep Against Winter
Once per long rest, the devotee can preserve one day’s provisions for twenty people from mundane spoilage for a month.
Relics
The Capitol Measure
A bronze measure that reveals when public reserves have been falsified in official accounts.
The Sealed Jar of Ops
Anything wholesome placed within remains fresh until the seal is deliberately broken.
Relationships
Saturn shares archaic agricultural tradition; Ceres governs grain and cultivation; Abundantia personifies visible plenty. Ops is the resource safely held for future need.
Use Ops Tonight
The Treasury Is Grain
A vault opened for coin contains perfectly preserved wheat instead.
The Missing Winter
A town’s stores should be empty after famine, yet one sealed cellar remains full.
The False Measure
Every official grain measure in the city becomes one-tenth too small overnight.
Divine Estate and Regional Effects
Where Ops’s presence is strong, a major sanctuary can project the following effects across roughly six miles. A small shrine normally manifests only one effect in a smaller area. Unless another divine power contests them, the effects fade over 1d10 days after the sanctuary is abandoned or desecrated.
The Storehouse Holds
Properly kept grain, oil and preserved food spoil at half the normal rate within a consecrated community store.
Earth Gives Warning
Exhausted or poisoned soil changes colour before planting, allowing cultivators to identify damaged ground before seed is wasted.
Shared Plenty Multiplies
Communal stores distributed by agreed measure stretch further; private hoards deliberately withheld from the community receive no benefit.
