What Epic Will Improves

Epic Will adds +4 to every Will saving throw. Will saves commonly resist charms, compulsions, fear, illusions and other effects that attack judgment, perception or control of the mind.

Epic Will Example

An epic character with a Will save bonus of +15 normally rolls 1d20 + 15. Epic Will increases that to 1d20 + 19. Against a DC 31 effect, a roll of 12 now succeeds.

Epic Will vs Iron Will

Iron Will grants +2 on Will saves, while Epic Will grants +4. Epic Will is intended for epic-level characters facing much higher save DCs and mind-affecting threats.
