How Epic Toughness Works

Epic Toughness permanently adds 30 hit points each time the feat is selected. These are normal maximum hit points, not temporary hit points, and the feat explicitly allows repeated selections to stack.

Taking Epic Toughness More Than Once

One selection grants +30 hit points, two selections grant +60, and three selections grant +90. Because each selection uses an epic feat choice, the decision is a trade between raw durability and other epic abilities.

Epic Toughness Example

An epic character with 210 maximum hit points takes Epic Toughness and increases to 240. Taking it again later raises the maximum to 270 before applying any other changes from level gains, Constitution or magic.
