How Great Wisdom Works

Great Wisdom permanently increases Wisdom by 1. The feat can be selected more than once, and each increase stacks.

When the Modifier Changes

The Wisdom modifier increases when the score reaches the next even number. Raising Wisdom from 21 to 22 increases the modifier from +5 to +6; raising 22 to 23 leaves the modifier unchanged until Wisdom reaches 24.

What Higher Wisdom Can Affect

When the modifier rises, Will saves and Wisdom-based skill checks improve, along with spellcasting or class features that use Wisdom where the character has them. The raw score can also help meet epic prerequisites.

See the Epic Feats index for other epic ability and spellcasting options.
