Fastbak

History
Fastbak is known as the fastest of all the New Gods in Supertown, and in the past his swiftness combined with his youthful enthusiasm and recklessness got him into trouble with Highfather more than once. In his youth, Fastbak was known to race through Supertown at high speeds on his aeropads with little regard for public safety.
Although still a youth among gods, a more mature Fastbak has since made himself useful in the never-ending battle against Darkseid and the forces of Apokolips, often serving in the capacity of a messenger or a scout. When young Esak went missing, Fastbak was the one sent to track him, managing to outrace even the Black Racer for Esak’s life!
Recently, Fastbak was knocked unconscious by an Apokoliptian vortex cannon and captured by the Crown Imperial Empire. With the help of Jack Knight, Starman VII of Earth, and Tigorr, formerly of the Omega Men, Fastbak was able to escape his imprisonment and help overthrow the dictator Jediah Rikane.
Powers and weapons
Fastbak’s great speed is attributed to the aeropads built into his boots, and it is not known if he possesses any superpowers of his own, apart from the enhanced strength, stamina and longevity that all New Gods enjoy. Theoretically, all New Gods would be able to do what Fastbak does, but for some reason he is the best at what he does; be it due to some innate power or simply through pure talent, good reflexes and practice on the aeropads. He does seem to be able to withstand the friction brought on by great speed without problems.
Although not the inventor of the aeropads, he has been known to make his own enhancements to them.
He is also a talented singer and poet.

Air walk: Fastbak’s aero-pads allow him to run on air. He can gain altitude by ‘running ‘uphill.’ When executed at the remarkable speed of this New God, Fastbak does appear to be flying.
Superspeed level 18: The following benefits are provided from Superspeed Level 18:
- +18 speed bonus to AC, initiative, and Reflex saves
- +18 speed bonus to attack and thrown damage rolls
- +9 speed bonus to melee damage rolls.
- Fastbak may make 18 swift actions in a round.
- Fastbak reduces the amount of time to complete an action by 4 steps, allowing him to take full round actions as immediate actions.
- Characters with less than Superspeed level 9 are considered flat-footed for the purposes of Fastbak’s attacks. Characters with Uncanny Dodge have an effective Superspeed Level equal to their Dexterity modifier for this purpose.
- When using the run action, Fastbak moves 80 times his movement rate (100,800 feet)
