Locks, Keys, Chains & Manacles

Equipment Prices and Weights

These are Pathfinder 1e equipment prices for fastening doors, securing loads, and restraining prisoners. Choose the chain or manacles first, then the lock: for most manacles, the price of a lock is additional. Standard, masterwork, and mithral manacles resist escape and breaking differently; follow the item links for their exact rules instead of treating the prices as interchangeable. Other RPG editions use their own equipment rules.
