Daughter of Styx

Hesiod names Bia among the children of Pallas and Styx alongside Zelus, Nike and Kratos. Their mother is the first to bring her children to Zeus when he summons allies against the Titans.

The reward is not a separate kingdom but permanent nearness to Zeus. Bia therefore works best as divine force at the centre of sovereignty rather than as an independent war queen.

Worship in the Living World

Soldiers, magistrates, athletes and rulers invoke Bia when resolve must become action. Her shrines favour iron weights, broken fetters and oaths witnessed before difficult labour rather than elaborate priestly courts.

Pantheon Plane: The Olympian Glades

Bia resides close to the Olympian centre in Arborea. She travels with the authority of Zeus and is most often encountered where divine commands must be enforced rather than debated.

What Is Bia Doing Now?

A chain of fortified cities has begun using Bia’s name to justify forced levies and seizure of property. The prayers are reaching her, but not in the way the rulers expect.

Bia has sent signs of cracked bronze across their council chambers. She intends to decide whether their claim is disciplined necessity or merely coercion wearing a sacred name.
