Need to climb a wall, pass unnoticed at a gate or keep an alchemist supplied? This index compares the prices and weights of equipment used for those jobs. The linked pages explain what each kit actually does. Most numbers here come from Pathfinder 1e or related older rules, not a universal equipment list for D&D 2024 and 2014.

Start with the Job

• Climber’s Kit — 80 gp, 5 lb.; pitons, rope and crampons help a character make difficult climbs.
• Disguise Kit — 50 gp, 8 lb.; materials for changing an appearance, with a limited number of uses.
• Alchemist’s Kit — 25 gp, 5 lb.; ordinary supplies for an alchemist’s class abilities, but no Craft bonus.

The 25 gp Alchemist’s Kit uses the older name for the Pathfinder alchemy crafting kit (5 lb.). The separate alchemist’s adventuring kit includes travelling supplies.
