Alchemist’s Kit
Alchemists Kit
Source Advanced Player’s Guide
Pathfinder 1e: An alchemist’s kit supplies the ordinary materials an alchemist needs to prepare extracts, mutagens and bombs. Ingredients with their own listed cost still have to be purchased separately. This kit does not grant a bonus on Craft (alchemy) checks.
Price and Which Kit?
In the Pathfinder 1e Advanced Player’s Guide, this kit costs 25 gp and weighs 5 lb. It is for the alchemist class’s day-to-day preparations, not a portable workshop that gives a crafting bonus. Later equipment lists use the name alchemy crafting kit for this basic item; do not confuse it with an alchemist’s adventuring kit, which is a separate bundle of travel supplies.
Using It in Play
Before an expedition, check whether any planned formula needs a costly component the kit does not provide. If the party loses the kit while travelling, finding replacement materials becomes a practical problem, especially far from a market or laboratory. Return to Tools & Kits to compare prices and weights with other gear.
