Sea Domain
The Sea Domain is a d20-era divine sphere of ocean authority, maritime warning and dangerous coastal magic. Its published rules come from Bastion Press’s Lore of the Gods: Greek Gods, where Poseidon grants it to priests who carry the sea’s danger with them.

How the Sea Domain Plays
The domain begins as a mariner’s survival sphere and escalates into control of coastlines and open water. Its granted power rewards the trident as a sacred weapon, while the spell list progresses from a dolphin ally and entangling kelp to tidal catastrophe, poisonous blooms and finally the calling of a kraken.
Who Grants the Sea Domain?
The source domain belongs to Poseidon. The current divine directory also associates it with Njord, whose established portfolio makes the sea connection appropriate. The domain should remain distinct from the broader elemental Water Domain.
What Are Sea Priests Doing Now?
Sea priests are blessing fleets, reading dangerous swells, negotiating with harbour powers, tracking unnatural red tides and warning coastal rulers when storms or sea monsters are signs of divine anger rather than ordinary weather.

Rules Sources and Licensing
The granted power and nine-spell progression derive from Lore of the Gods: Greek Gods by Steven Creech and Kevin Ruesch, published by Bastion Press as d20 3.5-era Open Game Content. Spells marked as new in the source retain their separate spell-page provenance.
