Mind Domain

The Mind Domain governs thought, perception, telepathy and resistance to mental control. The version used here follows the D&D 3.5 psionics SRD form, whose granted power combines social insight with stronger resistance to enchantment.

Edition Applicability
This page uses the D&D 3.5 psionics SRD version of the Mind Domain. A similarly named domain also appears in Complete Divine with a narrower granted power, so the two versions should not be silently combined. No Pathfinder 1e or 5e tab is added here without a deliberate conversion.

How the Mind Domain Plays
Mind is strongest when information matters. It helps the cleric understand speech, read intentions, link allies telepathically and eventually probe or protect thoughts directly. The granted bonuses also make the character a reliable negotiator and harder to control through enchantment.
Mind and Knowledge
Mind concerns consciousness and psychic connection rather than learning in the abstract. For scholarship and accumulated information, compare the Knowledge Domain; for prophecy and hidden answers, compare Lore.
Priests, Temples and Sacred Duties
Mind priests may act as counsellors, interrogators, diplomats or guardians against magical coercion. Their rites often centre on clarity, truthful communication and the disciplined control of thought.
