Brigit’s Flame Domain

Sacred fire representing Brigit's Flame Domain

Brigit’s Flame Domain combines sacred fire with protection, healing community and the defence of life. The version preserved here comes from the third-party Liber Mysterium: The Netbook of Witches and Warlocks, not from an official D&D SRD, Pathfinder or modern Cleric source.

When you first gain this domain, choose one of two sacred powers. Either you may rebuke or command Fire creatures and turn or destroy Water creatures, or you may turn or destroy undead as a good Cleric. Use the chosen ability a total number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.

How Brigit’s Flame Plays

The domain mixes protection with aggressive fire. Its most important decision happens when the domain is first granted: elemental authority creates a strong fire-versus-water identity, while turning undead makes the priest a more conventional protector against the restless dead.

Who Grants Brigit’s Flame?

Brigid is the defining patron of this domain. It should not be reassigned as a generic Fire Domain merely because another deity uses flame.

What Are Brigit’s Flame Priests Doing Now?

They are tending protected hearths, blessing community fires, defending settlements from unnatural cold or hostile spirits, and investigating sacred flames that have gone out without natural cause.
