How the Heaven Domain Plays
This is a specialised anti-fiend domain rather than a general-purpose healing sphere. Its granted power matters whenever the cleric faces fiendish outsiders, while the spell list moves from party support and consecration into direct celestial judgement. At higher levels, the domain becomes particularly effective in planar or cult-focused campaigns where evil outsiders are recurring enemies.
Zeus and the Heaven Domain
Zeus is the named patron of this version of the domain. Heaven expresses his authority over the celestial order rather than merely duplicating his command of storms. A cleric built around lightning and weather should look instead to domains such as Air, Strength or Weather.
Priests, Temples and Sacred Duties
Heaven priests present divine order as something active: temples are places of judgement, oath-taking and protection against forces that cross from hostile planes. Their rites emphasise consecration, public blessing and the defence of communities from fiendish corruption rather than ordinary funerary or healing work.
