The Hellfire does not harm the wielder. The effect remains until another command is given. A Hellfire weapon deals an extra 1d6 points of damage on a successful hit. This damage is profane in nature, and not subject to resistance. Ranged weapons so crafted bestow the Hellfire energy on their ammunition.
