Armour or Shield of Acid Resistance
This defensive enchantment protects its wearer from acid energy in Pathfinder 1E and D&D 3.5e. In both 5e rulesets, the core equivalent is Armor of Resistance, which uses the Acid damage type.

5.5e / 2024
Armor of Resistance (Acid) is Rare and requires Attunement. While wearing it, the character has Resistance to Acid damage. The core SRD item is armour, not a shield; a shield granting the same protection would be a separate custom item unless a specific published item says otherwise.
Do not import 3.x energy resistance 10, caster level or gp pricing into 2024 play.
5e / 2014
Armor of Resistance (Acid) is Rare and requires attunement. While worn, it grants resistance to acid damage. As in 2024, the core item is armour rather than a generic shield property.
5e resistance normally halves damage of the named type; it is not the same mechanic as subtracting a fixed 10 points from each damaging effect.
Pathfinder 1E
Price: 18,000 gp · Aura: faint abjuration · CL: 3rd.
The armour or shield grants acid resistance 10, reducing qualifying acid damage by 10 each time the Pathfinder 1E energy-resistance rules apply.
Construction: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, resist energy.
D&D 3.5e
Price: 18,000 gp · Aura: faint abjuration · CL: 3rd.
The 3.5e property grants acid resistance 10. Resolve each qualifying source of acid damage with the 3.5e energy-resistance rules rather than 5e damage Resistance.
Construction: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, resist energy.
Edition Difference
5e uses Acid Resistance, which is a proportional damage rule. Pathfinder 1E and D&D 3.5e use Acid resistance 10, a fixed reduction. These mechanics are not interchangeable.
