Armour or Shield of Acid Resistance, Improved

Improved Acid Resistance is a Pathfinder 1E and D&D 3.5e tier that reduces acid damage by 20. The two 5e rulesets do not have an Improved tier; they use the ordinary Armor of Resistance (Acid) item instead.

5.5e / 2024
No separate Improved tier. Armor of Resistance (Acid) is Rare, requires Attunement and grants Resistance to Acid damage while worn. Increasing a 3.x fixed reduction from 10 to 20 does not translate into a second 5e resistance tier.

No separate Improved tier. Armor of Resistance (Acid) is Rare, requires attunement and grants resistance to acid damage. Do not double the resistance or apply a flat 20-point reduction.
