Dabble Toadstools — Legacy Witch Art
Toadstools is a legacy Witch Art of fungi, spores, poison, darkness, decay and strange woodland growth. It belongs to the preserved d20 Dabble system.
Choose Toadstools If…
- You want fungi, spores, decay and strange growth as your magical language.
- You enjoy poison and transformation with an earthy, unsettling feel.
- You want a Witch who studies what grows in darkness and dead places.
What it feels like to play: Toadstools is a quiet Art until it is not. The Witch pays attention to rot, mould and hidden growth, turning things other people overlook into magical resources.
Legacy rules note
This Art uses the preserved d20 Witch rules. Its original prerequisites and spell progression remain below; other editions need a deliberate conversion.

Fungal Witches study mushrooms, moulds, spores and the hidden cycles of growth and decay beneath forests and caves. The original d20 write-up requires a neutral alignment component; campaigns may instead tie access to expertise, habitat or patronage.
Power: To better find fungi where they grow, the witch gains Low-Light Vision; if she already possesses this ability, she gains Darkvision out to 30 feet, which does not stack with existing Darkvision.
