Ursula Southill “Mother Shipton”

English soothsayer and prophetess. She lives in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, in a cave now known as Mother Shipton’s Cave along a Petrifying Well telling fortunes and makes predictions.

Although hideously ugly she has married Toby Shipton, a local carpenter, from York.
