Replacement Power: Predator’s Grace
As a swift action, gain a +10-foot bonus to base speed for 1 round, increasing by 5 feet for every 5 Cleric levels. You also gain low-light vision for that round; if you already possess it, your dim-light vision extends to three times human range. Uses per day equal 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Base Higher-Level Power Retained
You still gain the Animal Domain’s Animal Companion at 4th level, with effective Druid level equal to Cleric level – 3.
Replacement Domain Spells
| 1st | Magic Fang replaces Calm Animals |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Beast Shape I (animals only) replaces Dominate Animal |
All other spell levels remain those of the base Animal Domain.
How the Fur Subdomain Plays
Fur makes the Animal cleric faster and more predatory without removing the companion-focused identity. It is especially useful for scouting, pursuit and melee characters who need short bursts of mobility.
