Chi Focus
When he defeated the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying, Rand plunged his fists into its’ molten heart. This allows him to focus his chi and enhance his natural abilities to extraordinary levels.
Rand may spend a full round action to focus his Chi which provokes an attack of opportunity. He must succeed at a Concentration check (DC 22) to obtain focus. Upon doing so he receives a +4 enhancement bonus to his Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. He can also instead choose to receive a +8 enhancement bonus to Listen, Search and Spot checks by enhancing his senses. He can enhance multiple attributes at a time. Each enhancement will last for 5 rounds.
Rand may also focus his chi to allow him to heal himself or others. By concentrating as a full round action which provokes an attack of opportunity and succeeding on a Concentration check (DC 22) he may choose to heal himself or another or 4d8+6 points of damage. If he holds his Concentration for 20 rounds he may also remove disease. Rand must touch any target to be healed.
Danny can also use his chi to establish a telepathic link with another person’s mind. This allows him to communicate over any distance with them through mental speech. The meld will last until Rand breaks it or a week passes. He can do this as a move-action which does not provoke an attack of opportunity and touching the desired target.
The Iron Fist
The ultimate expression of Rand’s chi focus it the Iron Fist. He focus’ all his energy into his fist for a single blow which can inflict earth shaking damage to the target. Summoning the Iron Fist is a full round action which provokes an attack of opportunity. Upon doing so on
his next strike he resolves as a melee touch attack which inflicts direct wound damage. He also bypasses all DR and hardness on the attack inflicting it directly upon the target.
After using the Iron Fist, Danny is unable to focus his chi in anyway until 10 minutes have passed because it leaves him physically and mentally drained.
K’un Lun Training
Danny was trained since the time he was a child by the Lei Kung, the Thunderer. By the age of 16, he had attained the Crown of Fu-Si, the Kign of Vipers, overcome the Challenge of the Many, and defeated Shu-Hu the Lightning. His martial arts skill is exceeded only by only a few such as Shang Chi.
