Fahren-knife: The Fahren-knife was developed by Bernadeth’s brother, Desaad. When Bernadeth strikes with it, she begins a grapple, as if she had improved grab. On a successful grapple check, the Fahren-knife deals 5d6 points of fire damage and 1d4 points of Constitution damage. The fire damage ignores ½ of normal fire resistance, as it burns the victims from the inside out. The Fahren knife is a +4 shortsword that deals slashing and piercing damage.

Fury: The Furies are Darkseid’s elite special forces. As such they gain the following benefits.

Bonus feats as a fighter.

• +5 bonus to saves.
• +2 damage bonus for every -1 when using Power Attack.
• +1 competence bonus to attacks and damage when within 30 feet of another allied Fury. This bonus is cumulative.
