Dabble Serpent Magic — Legacy Witch Art
Serpent Magic, sometimes called the Serpentine Way, is a legacy Witch Art built around venom, coils, reptilian symbolism and snake-linked spellcraft. It belongs to the preserved d20 Dabble system.
Choose Serpent Magic If…
- You want venom, reptilian symbolism and snake-linked magic as a strong theme.
- You like familiars that matter mechanically and visually.
- You enjoy patient, dangerous magic with a predatory edge.
What it feels like to play: Serpent Magic is at its best when patience matters. The Witch watches, waits and strikes only when the moment is right.
Legacy rules note
This Art uses the preserved d20 Witch rules. Its original prerequisites and spell progression remain below; other editions need a deliberate conversion.
This Art draws on the symbolism and supernatural associations of snakes and reptiles. The original d20 write-up restricts Serpent Magic to non-good witches and gives them a snake familiar; those restrictions are legacy prerequisites rather than universal truths about Witch characters.
