Dabble Dreams — Legacy Witch Art

Dreams is a legacy Witch Art that explores sleep, illusion, nightmare, subconscious symbolism and the border between dreaming and waking. It belongs to the preserved d20 Dabble system.

Choose Dreams If…

  • You want sleep, nightmares and symbolic visions to shape your magic.
  • You enjoy illusion, divination and strange scenes that blur waking and dreaming.
  • You want your Witch to learn things in ways nobody else can easily verify.

What it feels like to play: Dreams makes uncertainty part of the class. A vision may be true, symbolic, manipulated or all three, giving the player useful information without making the world simple.

Legacy rules note

This Art uses the preserved d20 Witch rules. Its original prerequisites and spell progression remain below; other editions need a deliberate conversion.

Dabble, Dreams
Antonio de Pereda (1611-1678) (1611/1678) Title: El sueño del caballero

Dream-workers treat sleep, nightmare and symbolic visions as routes into magical perception. The original d20 write-up restricts the Art to chaotic Witches; campaigns may instead connect it to a dream-coven, patron or particular philosophy of magic.

Power: Awake: She adds her Charisma modifier to all Will saves to disbelieve Illusions and avoid sleep effects.
