This draught lets the drinker move with exceptional quiet, granting a +10 competence bonus on Move Silently checks for 1 hour.
Using the Elixir
The magic dampens the sound of movement but does not make the drinker invisible or erase every possible noise. Surfaces, equipment, speech and actions outside the Move Silently rules can still reveal a character.
Edition Note
This item uses the legacy Move Silently skill and competence-bonus framework. Later editions fold movement and concealment into different stealth systems, so use the original statistics only in the appropriate rules context.
