How the Mutation Domain Plays
Mutation is a utility-heavy domain whose power comes from changing what a creature is allowed to be. It begins with disguise and personal transformation, then expands into reincarnation, hostile transformation and eventually unrestricted shapechanging.
Mutation and the Celtic Otherworld
The source ties the domain to Celtic stories of heroes, druids and divine figures whose forms change as trick, curse, escape or rebirth. The domain therefore treats transformation as part of identity and fate rather than merely as biological corruption.
Priests, Rites and Sacred Duties
Mutation priests may serve as initiators, shapeshifters, healers of altered bodies or keepers of rites in which a changed form marks a changed life. More sinister cults can turn the same magic toward curses and forced transformation.
