How the Blackwater Domain Plays
This domain is highly specialised but extremely strong in oceanic campaigns. The granted power removes one of deep-sea exploration’s major environmental threats, while the spell list controls submerged enemies and turns the surrounding water itself into a weapon.
Who Grants the Blackwater Domain?
Aegir may fit where his live portfolio genuinely supports dangerous deep water. Other patrons should qualify because abyssal depth, pressure or predatory seas are central to their established identity—not simply because they are sea gods.
What Are Blackwater Priests Doing Now?
Blackwater priests are descending into trenches no ordinary diver can survive, recovering relics from drowned ruins, confronting deep-sea predators and investigating regions where the water itself has become unnaturally hostile or tainted.
