How the Balance Domain Plays

Balance is a support-and-control domain. Its spell list starts by identifying and calming extremes, then moves into judgement, shared consequences and effects that push creatures or situations back toward equilibrium.

Who Should Grant the Balance Domain?

Use it for powers whose established portfolios genuinely centre on equilibrium, impartial arbitration, cycles or the restraint of extremes. Do not infer it from a deity merely being calm, wise or politically neutral.

What Are Balance Priests Doing Now?

Balance priests are arbitrating disputes, containing planar incursions, judging whether one faction has gained dangerous dominance and intervening when magical forces push a region too far toward one cosmic extreme.
