Using Minor Fighting Prowess in Play
The legacy spell is a short combat preparation buff. Its scaling attack bonus is strong by later-edition standards, which is why no automatic 5e or Pathfinder conversion is assumed.
What Changed?
No modern conversion is assumed. The scaling attack bonus remains a legacy d20 mechanic and should not be translated directly into fifth-edition advantage or Pathfinder bonuses.
Counterplay and Related Magic
Because this is an ongoing enhancement, Dispel Magic can end it under the legacy rules and Counterspell can prevent the casting. Compare Divine Power and Haste.
