Contingent True Resurrection — Epic Spell

Contingent True Resurrection is a third-party epic spell from the Dicefreaks Grimoire of Cosmic Entities Volume One. The spell waits until its subject dies, then restores that creature one round later without the level or Constitution loss associated with the legacy resurrection procedure.

Effect
The spell remains dormant until the subject is slain. One round after death, the subject returns to life through the developed epic effect.
Unlike ordinary legacy resurrection, this version causes no level loss and no Constitution loss for a 1st-level subject. The one-round delay is the defining tactical feature: the creature can die during a battle and return almost immediately rather than after a separate resurrection scene.
This is an epic contingency built through the 3.x development framework, not the ordinary Contingency spell.
Edition Status
