Wizards Standard Spellbook

Wizards Standard Spellbook

An old and weathered tome bound in leather or some other sturdy material.

It often has metal clasps or locks to keep its contents safe and secure, and may be decorated with arcane symbols and sigils to indicate its magical properties.

The pages of the spellbook are made of high-quality parchment or vellum, and are carefully inscribed with the incantations and formulae needed to cast each spell. The writing may be in a specific magical script or in a common language, and is often accompanied by diagrams, illustrations, or mystical symbols to aid in the wizard’s understanding of the spell.

Source Core Rulebook

A spellbook has 100 pages of parchment, and each spell takes up one page per spell level (one page each for 0-level spells).
