Dabble Moon Magic — Legacy Witch Art

Moon Magic is a legacy Witch Art of moonlight, night, shadow, changing phases and nocturnal transformation. It belongs to the preserved d20 Dabble system.

Choose Moon Magic If…

  • You want moonlight, night and changing phases as the heart of your Witchcraft.
  • You enjoy shadow, transformation and nocturnal magic.
  • You want a strong visual theme that follows the character wherever night falls.

What it feels like to play: Moon Magic makes the night part of your character sheet. A good Moon Witch notices phases, darkness, reflected light and the subtle changes that everyone else ignores.

Legacy rules note

This Art uses the preserved d20 Witch rules. Its original prerequisites and spell progression remain below; other editions need a deliberate conversion.

Dabble Moon Magic
The Moon is prominently featured in Vincent van Gogh‘s 1889 painting, The Starry Night

Moon-workers, sometimes called the Pale Circle or Night Art, study moonlight, darkness and changing phases as sources of magical symbolism. The original d20 write-up requires a neutral alignment component; campaigns may instead tie access to patronage, observance or nocturnal practice.

Power: The witch gains Low-Light Vision; if she already possesses this ability, she can now see three times as far (instead of twice as far) as a creature without it.
