Grippli
“Tiny Frog People with a Big Leap – Meet the Mysterious Grippli!”
The Grippli are small, frog-like humanoids with a vibrant, greenish-blue hue. Standing at an average height of just over 2 feet, these agile creatures possess lithe, amphibious bodies. Their skin is covered in moist, mottled skin that aids in both camouflage and moisture retention. Grippli have large, expressive, golden eyes that provide them with keen night vision, allowing them to navigate their forested habitats even in the darkest of nights.
With webbed fingers and toes, Grippli are exceptional swimmers and agile climbers. They sport long, prehensile tongues, which they can use for catching insects or latching onto tree branches. Males and females share similar features, with males often being slightly smaller and less vibrant in coloration.
These nimble creatures primarily inhabit lush, tropical rainforests, living in treetop villages to stay safe from predators. The Grippli are a curious and reclusive folk, known for their intricate knowledge of the natural world, particularly the healing properties of plants and the behavior of local wildlife.
They live in close-knit communities, utilizing their remarkable skills in hunting, fishing, and gathering. While generally peaceful, Grippli can become fierce defenders of their homes when threatened. Their society is rooted in a spiritual connection with the environment and they often revere spirits of nature. Through their affinity with the rainforest, they maintain a balanced existence that harmonizes with their verdant surroundings.

These small, intelligent, humanoid tree frogs live in primitive societies deep in the forests and marshes of the world. They hunt giant insects and eat fruits and flowers from their tree homes. They often barter with more advanced creatures for metal and gemstone ornaments.
Grippli hatchlings develop into adults in less than a year. Unless they meet a savage end from a forest threat, they can live 60 years, their skin graying and losing its luster as they age. A grippli stands just over 2 feet in height and weighs 30 pounds.
