Gauntlets of Ogre Power

These gauntlets are made of tough leather with iron studs running across the back of the hands and fingers.

Legacy Rules

The gauntlets grant the wearer a +2 enhancement bonus to Strength. Both gauntlets must be worn for the magic to function.

Using the Gauntlets

The bonus improves the wearer’s Strength score itself rather than granting a single-task modifier, so any legacy calculations based on Strength use the enhanced score while both gauntlets are worn.

Edition Note

This page preserves the legacy enhancement-bonus version of Gauntlets of Ogre Power. Later editions use different versions of the item and should use their own edition-specific statistics.
