Wild Magic Zone Settlement
Settlement Wild Magic Zone

At a Glance
A Wild Magic Zone Settlement stands within an area where magic behaves unpredictably. Spellcasters learn to distrust routine assumptions, and magical creatures may avoid the district altogether unless they have a reason to brave it.
Legacy Settlement Rules
The entire settlement is treated as a wild-magic area under the relevant planar-trait rules. Decrease spellcasting by 2 levels.
Using It in Play
Wild magic should make spell use uncertain rather than simply impossible. Local residents may develop warning customs, mundane alternatives and specialised knowledge about streets or buildings where magical disturbances are especially severe.
Adventure Use
A surge can expose a hidden portal, scramble a protective ward or make a previously safe district dangerous. Conversely, someone may deliberately choose the settlement because ordinary divination and magical surveillance are unreliable there.
