Approaching Storm (Ex): The Stormrider travels across the storming skies to reach his enemy, thus he needs a mount capable of this feat. At 1st level, his mount is infused with the power of the storm, and changes form into a swirling mist of storm-clouds. Only the Stormrider may travel upon this beast. The mount gains electricity resistance of 10 and the ability to travel across storming skies. The mount may fly into a storm and descend from a storm as a move equivalent action. The mount is treated as a familiar with abilities based on the character’s levels of Stormrider.
Wrapped in Steel (Ex): At 3rd level, the Stormrider has gained a certain respect from the storms upon which he treads. The his armor is imbued with the power of the raging thunderstorm. His armor gains electricity resistance of 10 as well as a +2 bonus to AC. This stacks with any current magical bonuses of the Stormrider’s armor.
The Dark Ride (Su): Storms may strike at any point of day and so the Stormrider must be able to fight in any light. Beginning at 5th level, he gains Darkvision of 60 ft. His mount gains this same ability.
Crimson Thunder (Su): At 7th level, the Stormrider gains the ability to make devastating charges upon this thunderous mount. Upon a successful Ride-By attack, he may immediately call forth a ravaging storm from the heavens. Upon his next round, an immense bolt of crimson lightning strikes down upon the opponent which recieved the Ride-By Attack. This lightning deals 1D6 damage per Stormrider level (maximum 10) and his half lightning, half physical damage. This ability may be used a number of times per day equal to one half the character’s level of Stormrider.
Lightning Steed (Ex): His mount is the thing that brings him closer to the storm. As such, his mount is a living link to the powers of the raging thunder. At 9th level, the Stormrider’s mount morphs from its stormy form to one of pure lightning. It gains immunity to electiricity as well as the Air Creature template.
Lord of the Thunder (Ex): As he becomes one with the storm, he gains its awesome power. At 10th level, he gains immunity to electricity as well as the Air Creature template. However, the Stormrider does not gain the ability to fly. Instead, any weapon wielded by the Stormrider gains the shocking burst ability. Though the Stormrider has gained the Air Creature template, he may still be dealt critical hits as before.
