Effect
The sudden pressure deals 4d6 damage, with a successful Fortitude save reducing the damage by half.
Water Requirement
The spell must be centred at or below the water’s surface. It affects only creatures, objects and squares that are actually in water at least 5 feet deep; dry portions of the radius are unaffected.
Using Pressure Sphere
The environmental restriction is the spell’s defining feature. In deep water it can strike an entire cluster of targets, but it has no effect on creatures standing outside the water even if they fall inside the nominal radius.
