Very Rare; requires Attunement. This is Half Plate Armor +1. The armour itself is immune to rust and ordinary corrosion. Once per turn when a nonmagical metal weapon hits you, the weapon takes a cumulative –1 penalty to its attack and damage rolls after the attack resolves. At –3, the weapon is destroyed. A creature can repair one point of this penalty during a Long Rest with appropriate Smith’s Tools.

Very Rare; requires attunement. This is +1 half plate. When a nonmagical metal weapon hits you, after the attack it takes a cumulative –1 penalty to attack and damage rolls. At –3 the weapon is destroyed. Appropriate smith’s tools can repair the damage during downtime.

Conversion; Price: 20,000 gp · Aura: moderate transmutation · CL: 11th.
This +1 half-plate cannot be harmed by rust or normal weathering. A nonmagical metal weapon that strikes it begins corroding; each round thereafter, its damage is reduced by a further 2 points until destroyed. Other unattended metal objects can take 1d4 damage per round. Magic items are immune.
