feat Augment Summoning
Augment Summoning (General)
This material is Open Game Content, and is licensed for public use under the terms of the Open Game License v1.0a.
Prerequisite: Spell Focus (conjuration).
Benefit: Each creature you conjure with any summon spell gains a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength and Constitution for the duration of the spell that summoned it.
What Augment Summoning Changes
Augment Summoning makes creatures brought in by summon spells physically stronger and tougher. Each summoned creature receives +4 enhancement bonuses to Strength and Constitution for as long as the summoning spell lasts. Those ability increases can improve attack rolls, melee damage, hit points, Fortitude saves and other statistics derived from the affected abilities.
Prerequisite and Scope
The feat requires Spell Focus in conjuration. It applies to creatures conjured by summon spells rather than every creature a caster creates, calls or controls. The bonus lasts only for the duration of the spell that summoned the creature.
Augment Summoning Example
A summoned creature with Strength 14 and Constitution 12 becomes Strength 18 and Constitution 16 while the feat applies. Recalculate the creature’s affected bonuses from those temporary ability scores for the duration of the summoning.
See the Feats index for other summoning and spellcasting options.
