Blinding Speed

You can trigger short bursts of great speed.

• Prerequisite Dexterity 25.
• Benefit You can act as if hasted for 5 rounds each day. The duration of the effect need not be consecutive rounds. Activating this power is a free action.
• Special You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time you take the feat, it grants an additional 5 rounds of haste per day.

How Blinding Speed Works

Blinding Speed gives an epic character five rounds per day of acting as though hasted. The rounds do not need to be consecutive, so the character can spend them only when the extra speed and combat tempo matter. Activating the effect is a free action.

Using the Daily Rounds

A character might activate Blinding Speed for two rounds in one battle and save the remaining three rounds for a later encounter. Once the five daily rounds are used, the feat provides no further haste until the daily use resets.

Taking Blinding Speed More Than Once

Each additional selection adds another five rounds of haste per day. Two selections therefore provide ten rounds, three provide fifteen, and so on. The prerequisite remains Dexterity 25.
