Accursed — Epic Spell
Accursed is a third-party epic spell from the Dicefreaks Grimoire of Cosmic Entities Volume One. It destroys the victim’s mortal form, traps the soul long enough to rewrite it, strips away memory and identity, and transforms the victim into a lemure-like infernal creature.

- Change target to area effect: +10 DC.

- Increase caster-level checks against Spell Resistance by +9: +18 DC.
- Limit valid targets to the source’s listed living mortals and devils: ad hoc –10 DC.
- Other listed limitations reduce the DC further.
Source discrepancy: the surviving source text lists “burn 8,600 XP” as only –2 DC. That does not match the usual epic mitigation rate and is preserved here as a source anomaly rather than silently corrected.
Effect
A failed save destroys the victim’s original body and rewrites the captured soul into an infernal husk. The victim loses former memories, abilities and identity and begins again as a greatly reduced lemure-like creature under the source cosmology.
A creature that succeeds on the Fortitude save avoids the transformation but still suffers 1d4 negative levels for 9 hours.
The source associates the spell strongly with Asmodeus and the rulers of the Nine Hells. Treat those privileges as source-specific supernatural authority, not a general rule available to every caster.
Edition Status
This is third-party 3.x epic material. It has no direct modern D&D or Pathfinder equivalent.
