Devil, Vuall Duke of Pleasure
“Meet Vuall, the seductive Duke of Hell who twists love, lust, and dark desires into deadly pleasures!”
Vuall is a towering, 10-foot-tall humanoid with a well-sculpted, muscular body reminiscent of an idealized human male, but with the head of a camel. His skin gleams in an unnerving blend of allure and menace, and his bare torso is both powerful and seductive. He wears a loose-fitting skirt, exuding an air of casual dominance. His clawed hands appear surprisingly soft and nimble, reflecting his mastery of both violence and sensuality.
Behavior: Vuall is a master manipulator of carnal desires, known for his calm, yet unsettling charm. He revels in the pursuit of pleasure, granting fertility, erotic prowess, and dark gifts to those who worship him. Courtesans, the desperate, and the scorned often invoke his name. However, his benevolence is twisted; his favors come with a cost, as he delights in corrupting love and sexual power, driving those under his influence to extremes of obsession, jealousy, and violence.
Habitat: Vuall resides in the Oasis of Unbound Passion, a paradoxical paradise located within the barren deserts of the first layer of Hell. This oasis is a lush, sultry refuge amidst an otherwise desolate wasteland, where the air is thick with desire and every whim can be fulfilled—at a price. Dark ceremonies take place here, led by corrupted followers who spill blood in his name.
Modus Operandi: Vuall tempts mortals by offering them what they most desire: love, sex, and power. He answers prayers from barren couples, scorned lovers, and envious rivals, granting them potent yet damning abilities. His methods often involve manipulating the vulnerable through eroticism, leading them to commit horrifying acts in his name, such as murder, blood sacrifices, or the corruption of their offspring into demonic beings. Those who fall under his sway find themselves trapped in an endless cycle of lust, violence, and madness.
Motivation: Vuall seeks to pervert the ideals of love and beauty, turning them into instruments of suffering and chaos. His ultimate goal is to corrupt the essence of creation by sowing discord in relationships, promoting lust-driven atrocities, and expanding his influence through infernal offspring. He views pleasure not as an end in itself, but as a tool to ensnare souls, turning them into willing instruments of Hell.

Actions
Multiattack:
Vuall makes three attacks: two with his claws and one with his bite or whip.
- Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +20 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 40 (6d10 + 10) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) psychic damage.
- Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +20 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 35 (4d12 + 10) piercing damage plus 4d6 poison damage. A creature hit must succeed on a DC 28 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. The poisoned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
- Whip of Pleasure: Melee Weapon Attack: +20 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d8 + 10) slashing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 28 Charisma saving throw or become charmed by Vuall for 1 minute. The charmed target sees Vuall as a trusted ally. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Legendary Actions
Vuall can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Vuall regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
- Euphoria Wave. Vuall creates a wave of intoxicating pleasure in a 30-foot radius. Creatures in that area must succeed on a DC 28 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed until the end of their next turn.
- Claw Strike. Vuall makes one claw attack.
- Teleport. Vuall magically teleports up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space he can see.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Vuall can take a lair action to cause one of the following effects; he can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Unholy Allure: Vuall exudes an aura of charm. All creatures of his choice within 60 feet must make a DC 28 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by Vuall until the end of their next turn.
- Infernal Mirage: Vuall creates illusory images of himself that last until the end of his next turn. Any creature that targets him with an attack must roll a d6 to determine if it instead targets one of the illusions (on a roll of 1, the creature hits the illusion).
- Crimson Desolation: The area within 60 feet of Vuall becomes difficult terrain as blood-red vines erupt from the ground, slowing movement.
Abilities
1. Elysian Touch:
When a creature hits Vuall with a melee attack, it must succeed on a DC 28 Constitution saving throw or take 6d10 psychic damage and be incapacitated until the end of its next turn.
2. Aura of Desire:
Creatures within 30 feet of Vuall must succeed on a DC 28 Wisdom saving throw or be overwhelmed by desire, becoming incapacitated with lust until they take damage or are removed from the area. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns.
3. Diabolical Blessing:
Vuall can bestow a +6 enhancement bonus to Charisma on a creature within 30 feet as a bonus action. This boon lasts 24 hours and can be extended by performing an act of diabolical obedience in Vuall’s name. Vuall can revoke this blessing at any time.
4. Charm Resistance:
Vuall has advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
5. Poisonous Bite:
Vuall’s bite attack deals an additional 4d6 poison damage. A creature hit by the bite must succeed on a DC 28 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. The poisoned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Spellcasting
Vuall is an 8th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 28, +20 to hit with spell attacks). He has the following spells prepared:

Role and Lore
Vuall, known as the Duke of Pleasure, is a powerful devil who embodies desire and lust. He is often sought after by courtesans and those longing for love, making him a master manipulator of emotions and desires. However, Vuall’s gifts come at a steep price, as he thrives on the despair and obsession of others. His enchanting presence can lure adventurers into traps of temptation, causing them to question their morals.
Regional Effects
While Vuall resides in the Oasis of Unbound Passion, the following effects are present in his lair:
- Aura of Ecstasy: The atmosphere is thick with incense, granting all creatures within 1 mile advantage on Charisma checks but disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws.
- Eldritch Blooms: Flowers in the oasis bloom with unnatural beauty, providing healing properties that restore 2d4 hit points when consumed.
- Illusory Wonders: Vuall can create illusions of grand feasts and gatherings, distracting creatures from the dangers around them.
Magic Items
Vuall may possess the following unique items:
- Chalice of Seduction: This ornate chalice allows Vuall to cast Charm Person once per day without expending a spell slot.
- Cloak of Shadows: This cloak grants advantage on Stealth checks and allows Vuall to become invisible as a bonus action once per day.
Weaknesses
- Vuall’s power is intrinsically linked to the desires and emotions of others; if he is unable to fulfill these needs, he becomes weakened.
- His reliance on charm and manipulation can backfire against creatures resistant or immune to charm effects.
Vuall Duke of Pleasure
Originally from The Book of Fiends
Designed By Aaron Loeb, Erik Mona, Chris Pramas, and Robert J. Schwalb
Vuall has power over sex and fertility, and he is popular among the barren and those whose true loves do not share their affections. Courtesans worship the Duke of Pleasure to bolster their skills. Spurned men send prayers to Hell to force adoration from the subjects of their irrational desires. The physically deformed look upon their pleasingly featured fellows with homicidal envy. Murderous prostitutes, pregnant with diabolical seed, slit the throats of satisfied clients while they’re sleeping, collecting their blood in iron chalices to be quaffed in dark ceremonies. And nestled in the Oasis of Unbound Passion, in an arid desert on the first layer of Hell, Vuall laughs.
Vuall is said to have written many treatises on lovemaking, and his reputation as a lover spans the planes. He is something of a patron anti-saint among disreputable courtesans (both male and female), who believe that the Duke of Pleasure can grant them erotic skill.
Standing 10 feet tall, this humanoid has the body of a well-built man and the head of a camel. He wears only a loose-fitting skirt, his bare torso muscled and alluring. His hands, though clawed, nonetheless appear soft and nimble.
Though Vuall understands the intricacies of infernal nobility, he considers himself politically independent (with a distaste for Beelzebub and his faction, whom he views as upstarts).

Diabolical Blessing (Su) At will, Vuall can bestow a +6 enhancement bonus to Charisma upon a supplicant. This boon lasts 24 hours, although it can be extended each day by diabolic obedience performed in his name. Vuall can revoke this blessing at any point.
At will, Vuall can curse a creature within 100 feet with barrenness, rendering them incapable of producing offspring. A Fortitude save (DC 36) negates this curse. Remove curse is only effective if cast at 29th or higher caster level. Wish or miracle can remove the curse normally. Vuall can remove barrenness as a free action, even if he was not its cause.
Devil Shaping (Su) At will, a Duke can spend a minute to transform nearby lemures into other lesser devils. A Duke can transform ten lemures for every Hit Die the Duke possesses. It can then reshape these lemures into a number of Hit Dice’s worth of lesser devils equal to the number of lemures affected. For example, Vuall could transform 290 lemures into twenty nine bone devils (10 HD each), or any other combination of lesser devils. Lemures to be reshaped must be within 100 feet of the Duke, becoming stationary and unable to move once the shaping begins. After a minute passes, the lemures reform into the shape of a new lesser devil ready to follow the orders of the Duke.
Disease (Su) Devil Chills: Bite—injury; save Fort DC 36; onset immediate; frequency 1/day; effect 1d4 Str damage; cure 3 consecutive saves.
Exquisite Touch A creature cut by Vuall’s claws or touched by him must make a Fortitude save (DC 36) or be wracked with orgasmic pleasure and helpless for 1 round.
Poison (Ex) Bite—injury; save Fort DC 36; frequency 1/round for 10 rounds; effect 1d6 Dex damage; cure 3 consecutive saves.
Spittleseed Vuall’s seed deals its damage for 5 rounds if not neutralized somehow. If the seed deals damage for an entire five rounds, it corrupts the body, and the next child sired or born will be a half devil. A Fortitude save (DC 38) negates this corruption.
