Fiendish Giant Constrictor Snake
“Discover the Terrifying Power of the Fiendish Giant Constrictor: A Serpent That Crushes Souls as Easily as Bones!”
The Fiendish Giant Constrictor is an immense serpent, stretching over 50 feet in length with a body as thick as an ancient oak. Its scales are a deep, obsidian black, interlaced with crimson patterns that seem to pulse with malevolent energy. Its eyes are burning orbs of fiery orange, and its fangs, long as daggers, drip with a viscous, dark venom. The serpent’s entire body is adorned with infernal runes that glow faintly in the dark, giving it an otherworldly, menacing aura.
Behavior:
This massive constrictor is a patient and calculating predator, relying on stealth and overwhelming power to subdue its prey. It prefers to lie in wait, coiled and motionless, blending into its environment until the perfect moment to strike. When it does, it unleashes its full strength, wrapping its powerful coils around its victim and squeezing with a force that can crush bones and rupture organs. It is relentless, refusing to release its grip until its prey is completely subdued.
Habitat:
The Fiendish Giant Constrictor is found in the darkest, most corrupted parts of the world—twisted forests, cursed swamps, and shadowy ravines where the veil between worlds is thin. These habitats are filled with poisonous plants, toxic mists, and the lingering stench of decay, all of which only enhance the serpent’s natural abilities to remain hidden and strike without warning.
Modus Operandi:
This monstrous serpent prefers to ambush its prey, using its immense size and strength to its advantage. It often hides in dense underbrush or water, waiting for an unsuspecting creature to wander too close. Once within range, the Fiendish Giant Constrictor will lash out with lightning speed, coiling around its target and crushing it in a matter of moments. If its prey resists, the serpent’s venomous bite delivers a powerful poison that weakens and paralyzes, making escape impossible.
Motivation:
Driven by a primal hunger and the dark energies that infuse its being, the Fiendish Giant Constrictor hunts not just for sustenance, but also to spread fear and corruption. It is a creature of pure malevolence, seeking to dominate and destroy all life within its territory. Whether acting on instinct or the will of a greater fiendish power, its purpose is to consume, crush, and corrupt, leaving nothing but death and decay in its wake.

Traits
- Fiendish Resilience: The Fiendish Giant Constrictor has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
- Infernal Grasp: When the Fiendish Giant Constrictor successfully grapples a creature, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be cursed. While cursed, the creature takes an additional 7 (2d6) necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns and has disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity checks. The curse lasts until removed by the remove curse spell or similar magic.
- Shadow Stealth: While in dim light or darkness, the Fiendish Giant Constrictor can take the Hide action as a bonus action.
Actions
- Multiattack: The Fiendish Giant Constrictor makes two attacks: one with its Bite and one with its Constrict.
- Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (3d6 + 6) piercing damage, plus 10 (3d6) poison damage.
- Constrict: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one Large or smaller creature. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 16) and restrained until the grapple ends. The Fiendish Giant Constrictor can’t constrict another target while grappling.
- Venomous Constriction: Recharge 5–6: The Fiendish Giant Constrictor tightens its coils around a grappled creature, forcing it to make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 21 (6d6) poison damage and is poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned in this way, the target is also paralyzed. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Tactics
- Ambush Predator: The Fiendish Giant Constrictor uses its natural stealth and the cover of darkness to ambush prey. It strikes from hiding, using its Bite and Constrict attacks to quickly incapacitate its target.
- Constriction Master: Once it has a creature in its coils, the Fiendish Giant Constrictor focuses on maintaining the grapple, using Venomous Constriction to weaken and paralyze its prey. It will often retreat into the shadows or climb to safety while squeezing the life out of its victim.
- Area Denial: The Fiendish Giant Constrictor will position itself in narrow spaces or near obstacles where its large size and reach can prevent enemies from escaping or maneuvering effectively. It uses its body to block paths and control the battlefield.

Fiendish Giant Constrictor Snake
Giant constrictor snakes are more aggressive than their smaller cousins, principally because they need a great amount of food to survive. They hunt for food but do not attempt to make a meal out of any creature that is too large to constrict.
Skills: Snakes have a +4 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, and Spot checks and a +8 racial bonus on Balance and Climb checks. A snake can always choose to take 10 on a Climb check, even if rushed or threatened. Snakes use either their Strength modifier or Dexterity modifier for Climb checks, whichever is higher. A snake has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check.

COMBAT
Constrictor snakes hunt by grabbing prey with their mouths and then squeezing it with their powerful bodies.
Smite Good (Su): Once per day the creature can make a normal melee attack to deal extra damage equal to its HD total (maximum of +20) against a good foe.
Constrict (Ex): On a successful grapple check, a constrictor snake deals 1d3+4 points of damage.
Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, a constrictor snake must hit with its bite attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can constrict.
