Beelzebufo seems to defy all logic on what you would expect from a creature its size. It is amazingly strong and resilient for its size, preying on anything from small monstrous centipedes to hatchling dinosaurs and domestic cats. It also tends to shrug off damage well past what its size should as well: it has to be, seeing as it is somewhat ungainly compared to other toads. Beelzebufo uses its defensive abilities and strengths to be a successful ambush predator, hiding in arid scrub plants and hopping out at the last second to attack its prey. Some desert shamans use the skin secretions of beelzebufo as ingredients in potions and as spell material components.

A creature in its gullet takes 1 point of acid damage per round. A creature may attempt to cut out of the toad by dealing an appropriate amount of slashing or piercing damage to the innards (hp 2, AC 11).
