Dinosaur, Leptoceratops

Dinosaur, Leptoceratops
Triceratops horribus, Leptoceratops gracilis. by ABelov2014 on DeviantArt

Leptoceratops is a small dinosaur, characterized by its slender build and prominent frill and horns on its head. It moves swiftly and gracefully, using its hooves to defend itself and charge at threats when necessary. Its keen sense of smell and perception make it alert to dangers in its surroundings.

In its natural habitat, Leptoceratops forages on ferns, cycads, and other vegetation, and its compact size allows it to coexist with larger dinosaurs without direct competition for food. Despite its relatively small stature, it can deliver powerful charges and trample foes underfoot.

This ram-sized dinosaur has a big head with a hooked beak and short frill. Unlike its larger cousins, it can walk on just its hind limbs and does not have any horns.

Leptoceratops is a small, slender ceratopsian, smaller even than its more ancient cousin Protoceratops. They are browsers, standing on their hind legs and using their forelimbs to pull branches toward their hooked beaks.

A leptoceratops is about 6 to 8 feet long and 150 to 200 pounds in weight.
