Dabble Gaze Magic — Legacy Witch Art

Gaze Magic is a legacy Witch Art that channels fear, charm, insight and supernatural force through the eyes. It belongs to the preserved d20 Dabble system.

Choose Gaze Magic If…

  • You want eye contact, supernatural perception and unsettling presence to define your Witch.
  • You enjoy fear, charm and social control as magical tools.
  • You want a Witch who can make a room uncomfortable without raising a hand.

What it feels like to play: Gaze Magic rewards presence. The threat is often in the moment before a power is used, when everyone realises the Witch is looking directly at them.

Legacy rules note

This Art uses the preserved d20 Witch rules. Its original prerequisites and spell progression remain below; other editions need a deliberate conversion.

Dabble Gaze Magic
The Hamsa, a charm made to ward off the evil eye.

Gaze-workers train attention, eye contact and magical perception until a look can unsettle, reveal or compel. The original d20 write-up restricts the Art to non-good Witches; campaigns can instead judge access by patron, coven and how those powers are used.

Power: Witcheye: All gaze attacks from the witch enjoy a +2 bonus to their DCs, and she may select either Intimidate or Spot as a class skill.
