Bandeirantes
The Bandeirantes are Portuguese settlers in Brazil and fortune hunters. Who lead expeditions called bandeiras which penetrate the interior of the State of Brazil.
Originally aimed to capture and force Indigenous Americans races into slavery, now the bandeirantes have begun to focus their expeditions on finding gold, silver, and diamond mines. As they ventured into unmapped regions in search of profit and adventure, they expanded the effective borders of the Brazilian colony.
The São Paulo settlement serves as the home base for the most famous bandeirantes.
