Glowing orb used to illustrate Orb of Acid

Orb of Acid is a legacy conjuration that hurls a concentrated globe of acid at one target.

Effect

The caster makes a ranged touch attack. On a hit, the orb deals 1d6 acid damage per caster level, to a maximum of 15d6.

The target is also sickened for 1 round. A successful Fortitude save prevents the sickened condition but does not reduce the acid damage.

Using Orb of Acid

The spell combines high single-target damage with a brief debuff. Spell resistance does not apply, but the attack roll still has to hit.
